FUTURA TYPE BOOKLET

A promotional booklet for Futura that focuses on composition and layout. The color story is inspired by the German and the American flag which maps the geographical journey of Futura, the typeface was born in Germany but was adopted by America as if it was their own.

The cover is designed by breaking down the letters into the utmost basic shapes, circle, square, and triangle. The same shapes have been used to write ‘Danke’, or Thank you in german, on the back cover.

These shapes lay the foundation of the type anatomy and hold relevance in the Bauhaus school of design. These skeletal elements have been used to carry forward the design language of this type booklet. The type booklet celebrates Futura in all its glory.
